Three Mindset Tips for Success
It really is all in your head! I’ve created successful seven-figure businesses and the absolute secret to success is creating a positive, affirming mindset. No matter what you want to do, you have to control your thoughts, you need to know what they are because you need to know what’s actually stopping you! This has been my lifelong practice and these three mindset tips will help you be more and more successful.
Mindset Tip #1: Create a Visual Reminder
Yes, visualization is also important in business but you need to put your image of what you’re working towards somewhere you will see often. For me, it’s making a lot of money so I put a photo of money on my phone as my screensaver. To get even more specific, you could even put the number of the amount of money you want to be making this month, this year or just even per day. And every time I pick up this phone, I see this very important reminder.
Be sure to switch it up every week or so, otherwise that photo will just become background to you and you’ll learn to gloss over it. Maybe for you it’s a tropical vacation or a new home or those expensive shoes. Start gathering photos that show your goals and will remind your brain that all this hard work will have rewards.
Mindset Tip #2: Set your Passwords as Reminders
I’ve also been doing this for a long time. Think of a positive affirmation (e.g., LifeIsOrganizingAroundMe) or what your goal is (e.g., MakeMoreMoney2022), condense it into a simple phrase you can remember and then use that as your password. Every time you log in to wi-fi, your bank account, or even your computer start screen, you’ll have to type those words in. Your brain will then process that message multiple times per day. This just keeps putting affirmations inside your head to make you see with your eyes your success.
Mindset Tip #3: Make the Message Sticky
The third thing I do is I use sticky notes where I will see them throughout my day. On the bathroom mirror, inside the cupboard where I grab my coffee cup, on my desk, on my bag, etc. On these notes I write the money numbers I want from my business. I choose the amount of money I will make that day but you can also choose a different goal like getting 100 new subscribers. Whatever works for your business. The key is that you see this note to yourself and it’s a reminder of what you’re working towards. And a small manifestation that sets your mind to that goal.
All of these things are triggers that set our intentions. The repetition affirms to our brain that, yes, these things are true and possible. Those things that we want to create, that’s how you have a positive mindset when you’re building a successful business.
